As you should know I am a mother of a 2 year old. Two-year-olds play, they don’t study. However, I have used playtime with my child to teach him certain things. While I was playing and teaching at the same time I understood that I should sit down and plan a little something simple and easy. A planning that would allow me to have a little structure in teaching.
Here I share with you as I planned in a simple and easy way that have helped me to structure a little.
How to make homeschooling planning easy
First of all, I got my ultimate homeschooling bundle. For a long time I wished I could buy a bundle, because I saw all the resources I could get at a super low price! Among the resources I was looking for, it was a simple and easy to use homeschooling planner. So in the bundle I got the Simple Homeschool Planner by Terryn Winfield.
Then, the moment I printed it in the comfort of my home, I was fascinated by this planner. It really was what I was looking for. Simple, straightforward, colorful and easy to use for my needs.
So, how do I use this planner for my organization? Easy! At the moment, since my child is only 2 years old, I am mainly focusing on 4 areas. Colors, shapes, letters and numbers.
In my case, I use the weekly calendar to establish the structure. For example, on Monday I will be teaching on the letter A, the next Monday of the other week, I will be teaching on the color red and so on.
Then, in the monthly calendar I keep a record of what I have taught and what areas I can reinforce with my child through the game. Always through the game! For the moment, this resource I found in the bundle has helped me a lot!
If you are looking for a way to organize and structure yourself a little in homeschooling, the resources (which are many) of the bundle can be a great tool for you. Just print and go! – Easy peasy! No time consuming, just plan and teach!
I hope this serves you as an idea and encouragement to continue or start your homeschooling journey! – If you want to take a closer look at the homeschooling bundle, click the image below! Includes more than 50 resources!
